The Markowski Open - Round 3
Played a chess-dad today. It's his frist tournament. He is a very sweet guy with two really cool kids: Ryan and Daniel. Both are on their way to being great chess players. It was quite a fight.

The Markowski Open - Round 2
I just had an epic game which lasted 5 hours 10 minutes!
I played my opponent (Leonardo Villaverde) before and and it was always quite a battle.
I was maintaining a winning position in the beginning, blundered and lost a piece (knight), then recovered, then maintained drawish position forever and finally made series of blunders and completely lost. At this point the clock was ticking past midnight! wow..

The Markowski Open - Round 1
Sloppy play today, blunder after blunder.
4 cups of coffee did not help. After move 20 I was basically falling asleep.
Perhaps it's my new work schedule affecting my game. I stopped paying attention to things :(
